Hello trusty backers!!! 

We just wanted to reach out and let you know that the Backerkit charges are going through today like we mentioned would happen in the last update.

I'm sure there will some that will get declined, we will try to resubmit those next week. If we can't process the shipping and add-on costs  we won't be able to get items out in the mail to you. 

We are hoping to have other news about the campaign shortly (either tomorrow or early next week) including shipping from the printer and an update on the remaining decks.

Production Update 1/10/19

First off Happy New Year! 

I know it's been almost a month since our last update, but today we got something great in the mail. We received production samples of the dungeon decks 1-5 and the Dead Ends booster pack! 

So, if you are ready to see what those finished products look like, check out the unboxing video below. 

This update is going to be jam-packed with info, so keep reading on to find out about the rest of the project.

Where are the rest of the decks?

So, we are still finalizing the artwork for the NPC deck and the Traps deck. Chinese New Year is about to hit and we will not be able to get those onto press until after February 20th. We know this is going to put the delivery for a lot of backers behind schedule, and we are very sorry for the delay. However, we are certain they will be worth the additional wait. 

What if I only backed the dungeon decks?

Lucky for you they will be getting on a boat and shipped off before Chinese New Year. So as soon as we get them in we will begin packing orders to get them out to backers.

Overseas Backers: Attention!

We have been in talks now with a number of fulfillment partners and are close to coming to some arrangements to have shipments sent from the UK, Canada, and possibly Australia. It won't change your shipping cost, but if we get this worked out you won't be paying VAT!

When Am I Going To Get Charged for BackerKit Add Ons?

Two weeks! That's right, two weeks from today we will be running your cards for those charges. Please be aware so that we can make sure everything goes through. If you are not familiar, this is only for additional charges incurred on the pledge manager. 

What About the Modules?

We are hard at work on them, and will be updating you more on their progress soon.

Norse Foundry will be at PAX South in booth 10613. Be sure to stop by and check out the first two Cardography decks and say Hi to Drew. Also Isaac will be there, so you can ask him lots of questions about the modules he's writing!

Hello trusty backers!!!

First of all, let us say that it was amazing getting to meet so many of you at PAX Unplugged. It was a bit surreal seeing so many people that not only already knew what Cardography was, but had also backed this project. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and chat with us!

We know that this is a long update, but it covers a lot of info. Please read through it all, so that you’re up to date on everything that’s currently happening.

Now let’s dive into a status report: 

• The 5 adventure decks and the dead ends – in the printing process at the printer
• Random Monsters – 48 out of 52 illustrations completed 
• Magical Items & Artifacts – Waiting for a proof 
• NPCs Heroes & Villains – 18 out of 52 illustrations completed 
• Traps & Obstacles – 26 out of 52 illustrations completed

So what does all that mean for our estimated delivery of February? It looks like if you only ordered the core adventure decks we should be receiving them towards the very end of February. As soon as we get them we’ll be turning them around and shipping them out. We will get a better final timeline as the printer provides it.

Now let’s talk about the stretch goal decks. Each of those decks has illustrations that we had originally set a deadline of early February, since they were only going into the digital adventure modules. Because we are now printing these illustrations onto the cards, we’ve had to accelerate those deadlines. They’re getting drawn as fast as we can, but they aren’t quite ready yet. Our printer won’t give us a realistic timeline for these extra decks until we provide all of final files. However, as soon as we get that timeline we will give you an updated estimated delivery date these decks. We’re sorry they’re taking a bit longer to produce, but we promise they’ll be worth the wait!

Backerkit update: You may have noticed that we haven’t run your credit cards for the additional purchases on Backerkit. We were advised by our accountant that we should wait until after the new year to process those charges so we don’t get hit with a giant tax bill this year. We plan to run those charges at the beginning of February, and will send out reminders 2 weeks beforehand so you aren’t surprised. Thank you for your patience and understanding for us delaying the charges on this part of it.

As a side bit of fun for all of you with 10mm miniatures laying around, our friend Heath Robinson tried some out on the Icy Divide cards and it worked great!

Color Proofs!

Today we got the color proofs in for the 5 adventure decks and the Dead Ends booster pack. Everything is looking really good. 

We are going to be at PAX Unplugged this upcoming weekend and will have an update on printing and delivery timelines after we recover from the show. If you are going to be in Philly, please come by and say hello to us at the Norse Foundry booth 1713!

Status Update & US Holidays

We are doing our status update a little early this week because of our Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. As you can see there hasn't been a big change in the grid since last week. There are 6 more monster cards finished and 10 more magic item cards finished. 

We will probably take next week off from giving you an update because we will be at PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia (booth 1713) for about 5 days with all the travel time. Hopefully when we return from that show we will have the physical proofs in from the printer of the 5 adventure decks and be able to share that with you.

If you have any questions over the next couple days we may be a little slow to respond. We like to take Thanksgiving to spend time with family and loved ones. Thanksgiving is often a time to reflect and look at the people and experiences you are thankful for. This year has been pretty amazing because of you. You are making this project of ours come to life and we can't thank you enough!
