A Closer Look at the NPCs Heroes & Villains Deck

One of the best things about having all of you amazing backers’ support for this project are the stretch goals we’ve unlocked! The NPCs deck is one of my favorites, mainly because when I am running a game I never want to show my players the stats of a character they encounter.

The 52 cards in this deck will have characters from the first 5 Cardography decks. We have color-coded them to make it easier to pull out specific characters for a specific deck. So far we are only showing NPCs from Enter the Fiery Pits and Break Through the Icy Divide. Since this was a stretch goal, a good chunk of the art is not done yet, and will go to the printer once the art is completed by the amazing Carey Drake.

Along with the deck, there will be a pdf for 5e and Fate that has just the NPCs in their own file.

If you are on the fence about this, you still have until the 27th to update your BackerKit!

Trap Deck Unlocked

We are at a little over 50% off all surveys answered and we have successfully unlocked the trap deck! Anyone who has selected the trap deck the deck will be made! Please make sure to fill out your surveys so we can get a correct count to order! Again thank you for your support and support on backerkit we are so excited about where Cardography is going and we can’t wait till these hit the tables!

Want to Get Your Decks or Dice? 

Hooray! It's BackerKit launch day! If you’re a seasoned pro & used BackerKit with other campaigns before: BackerKit will launch with a small test (5% of backers will get invited to help make sure everything runs smoothly) later today. By the end of the day there will be the full launch. To everyone new to BackerKit: Keep reading, it looks like a lot but it will make this process as smooth as possible. To everyone: Make sure to respond to your invite as soon as possible, we want to go to print quickly. Your orders will help us determine how many of each deck we need to order. Please note you have till October 29th to complete Backerkit.

Do I need to use BackerKit? What is it? 

BackerKit is tool to help manage the pledge you made on Kickstarter. It's a completely separate website where you will provide your address for shipment and fill out our survey to make sure you get everything you want. If you backed below the $10 tier, BackerKit will allow you to upgrade your tier and add on additional items. The best part, we are keeping shipping cheap…. So keep adding products and your shipping will stay low. 

How do I log on to BackerKit? 

You will receive an email invitation to the email address associated with your Kickstarter account. Check junk mail/spam filters, and double-check it is not going to an old email address. If for some reason you did not receive the email you should be able to resend the email by going here https://atmars-cardography-full-rpg-modules-and-random-dun.backerkit.com/ 

I missed the campaign, can I still be an early adventurer with Cardography? 

Hurry, there’s not much time: https://atmars-cardography-full-rpg-modules-and-random-dun.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders You won’t get the free stuff that Kickstarter backers got, but the prices are still as low as you will see them.. 

How do I add on other more decks, coins, dice and more? 

Once you have logged into BackerKit you will take the initial survey. Then you will be able to add items to your cart (this will pull money from what you have already pledged). If you decide you want to keep adding more, it will keep track of how much money you have left or need to add. 

 What about my shipping information? 

After you go through the add-ons section, you'll be presented with an opportunity to enter your shipping info. Please click through and confirm the results. You have to click the button that reads Place My Order. If you don’t, the process is not done and you won't be recorded as a completed. To ship out your order it must be completed, so be sure to get all the way through this step. 

My Kickstarter pledge failed, can I still get in on the project? 

If Kickstarter removed you and you didn’t make it to BackerKit then we will need to manually add you back into the backer list. Contact us at [email protected] so we can get it all squared away.

It’s been almost a week since the Kickstarter ended, and I just realized that we’ve been so busy checking tasks off our list that we forgot to send out a thank you update! Whoops and Sorry!! Time has been flying, and we are working hard to get Cardography to your doors. From all of us on the Cardography team, THANK YOU!!!!

There is one day left to update your payment with Kickstarter! Almost all of your payments have been processed, however 44 of you have had the card declined for some reason. You should see a warning at the top of Kickstarter when logged in with prompts on how to fix it. If you are one of these 44 and still want to get Cardography at the Kickstarter price along with the bonus Kickstarter items, you have to update it before Tuesday the 25th at 9pm EST!

We should be launching Backerkit, which allows us to survey everyone involved to make sure we’re making our backers as happy as possible, in about a week and a half. We’ll have this open for a short window of time. When we place the orders for the decks we want to ensure that we order the right quantities of everything, and participating in Backerkit really helps make that happen.
